Feedback from employees indicates that they appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback more frequently. For management, it’s beneficial to have results available at any time, with the system analyzing and alerting them to changes, as well as offering action suggestions.
Just over a year ago, SpareBank 1 Midt-Norge, SpareBank 1 Østlandet, and SpareBank 1 Gruppen AS started a pilot project with Winningtemp's surveys. Now, almost all of the approximately 8800 employees in the SpareBank 1 alliance use them. They wanted a simple tool that could help them understand engagement in the organization in real-time.
With annual surveys, there is often a mismatch between the survey timing and the implementation of measures. However, with Winningtemp, leaders can quickly catch signals and take timely actions. SpareBank 1 also wanted a solution with a clear dashboard accessible to management, HR, and employees, involving both in the improvement process. They also wanted the ability to tailor the solution to each company or bank within the alliance.
Winningtemp provided this, and additionally, we found that the system adheres to privacy principles and GDPR better than other systems we have tested.
Employees respond to questions with smileys, indicating two degrees of positive and two degrees of negative. Indifference is not an option. Feedback from employees is that they appreciate being able to give feedback more often. For management, it’s beneficial to have results available at any time, with the system analyzing and alerting them to changes, as well as offering action suggestions.
If an employee reports negative conditions, management and HR can send a message to gather more information, with responses coming back anonymously. We are certain that the pulse surveys have a positive effect in preventing absenteeism and turnover.
